How many KGs of feed are consumed by a broiler up to slaughter?Supreme Feed works with 500g of starter crumbles, 500g grower crumbles, 1000g grower pellets and 1500- 1700g finisher pellets per bird dependant on slaughter weights.

What are the advantages of feeding with pellets instead of meshes?Pellets reduce waste and give an improved FCR (Feed Conversion Ratio), less energy is used in digestion and pellets they have an improved hygiene since the pelleting process involves heat.

What time of the year is the best for broiler production?With good management and proper housing, broiler production is profitable all year round.

What equipment is needed when starting a poultry project?Feeding equipment e.g. chick trays and feed troughs as well as drinking equipment e.g. water founts, a thermometer and brooders e.g. charcoal heater.

Can I slaughter at 5 weeks?Yes, with Supreme Feed and with good management you can slaughter at 5 weeks with an average weight of 1.7 kg.
